Infinix has confirmed that its new gaming phone, the GT 50 Pro, will launch in India on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, and it will be sold on Flipkart. The phone is already on sale in some other markets, so most of the hardware is known: a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chip, a 144Hz AMOLED screen, visible liquid cooling and a 6,500mAh battery.
Here is what has been confirmed for India, what we know from the global model, and what is still unknown.
Price and availability in India
Infinix has not announced the India price yet. It will be revealed on launch day. Some reports have guessed a price of around ₹40,000, but that is an estimate, not an official figure, so treat it with caution.
| Variant | India price |
|---|---|
| 12GB + 256GB | Not announced yet |
| 12GB + 512GB | Not announced yet |
These two memory options are the ones sold globally. Infinix hasn’t confirmed which variants India will get.
- Launch date: October 27, 2026 (launch time not announced yet)
- Where to buy: Flipkart, as confirmed in the launch teasers. Sale date not announced yet.
- Colours: Black Abyss (with green cooling accents) and Red Blaze (with red accents)
- Pre-booking: open since October 24 (12 PM) on Infinix’s India website for ₹1,999. This is a booking amount, not the phone’s price.
- Launch offers: reports say pre-booking customers get a free Infinix X60 Bluetooth speaker (listed at ₹5,999). Bank offers haven’t been fully confirmed yet.
- Accessories: Infinix will also launch the GT NX Controller, GT NX Station and GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0, which are expected to cost extra.
For reference, last year’s GT 30 Pro launched in India at ₹24,999 for 8GB + 256GB, with ₹2,000 off on the first day of sale. It now sells for around ₹31,999 on online stores (October 2026), according to price trackers.
Key specifications
Infinix has confirmed the chip, screen, cooling, battery and charging for India. The rest of the details below come from the global model, which went on sale in other markets earlier in 2026. The Indian version is expected to be the same, but Infinix hasn’t said so for every spec.

What’s new
The biggest change from the GT 30 Pro is the chip. The Dimensity 8400 Ultimate replaces last year’s Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, and Infinix claims up to 144fps in supported games such as Free Fire MAX and Call of Duty: Mobile.
The battery also grows from 5,500mAh to 6,500mAh, while charging stays at 45W wired and 30W wireless. On the camera side, the 108MP main sensor of the GT 30 Pro makes way for a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), which helps with steadier low-light photos and video.
The design is the other headline. Infinix calls it “Cyber Mecha”: a textured back with a window that shows the liquid cooling channels, plus four RGB strips with 14 lighting effects that react to calls, games and music. The shoulder triggers can be set up for aiming, firing, zooming or opening apps.
Infinix is also bringing gaming accessories to India: the GT NX Controller (a clip-on controller that can split into two Bluetooth handles), the GT NX Station (a dock for playing on a TV or monitor at up to 4K 60Hz), and the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0 (a magnetic cooling fan with 15W wireless charging). Reports differ on whether the cooler comes in the box or is sold separately, so we’ll confirm that on launch day.
Who should consider it
The GT 50 Pro is aimed at mobile gamers who want strong performance, good cooling and extras like shoulder triggers without paying flagship prices. Camera-first buyers should look elsewhere.
Two close rivals at similar prices:
- OPPO K13 Turbo 5G (around ₹33,999 at the time of writing): Dimensity 8450 chip, a 7,000mAh battery and 80W charging, plus a built-in cooling fan.
- Motorola Edge 70 Pro 5G (around ₹39,799 at the time of writing): Dimensity 8500 Extreme chip, a 6,500mAh battery and faster 90W charging.
Tip: Don’t buy on launch hype alone. Wait for the official price and the first-sale bank offers on Flipkart, and check whether the magnetic cooler is in the box. If it costs extra, add that to the price when you compare it with the OPPO K13 Turbo.

The bottom line
The Infinix GT 50 Pro arrives in India on October 27 with a faster Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chip, a bigger 6,500mAh battery, liquid cooling and shoulder triggers. The price will decide everything. Close to the GT 30 Pro’s current price, it could be one of the best-value gaming phones of the year; near ₹40,000, it faces tough rivals. The official price, sale date and offers will be announced at the launch.
