Phone prices in India have climbed through 2026, so ₹30,000 buys less gaming power than it did a year ago. The good news is that a few phones with genuinely fast chips, big batteries and high-refresh screens still sit under that line. Here are five worth your money right now, and who each one suits.
Why prices are higher this year
Memory chips (RAM and storage) have become much more expensive because AI data centres are buying huge amounts of them. Brands have passed that cost on, and many 2026 phones cost several thousand rupees more than the models they replace. That’s why some of the best picks below are 2025 phones: their prices have settled, while newer phones with similar power often launch above ₹30,000.
Quick comparison
| Phone | Price (Oct 2026) | Chip | Screen | Battery / charging | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| iQOO Neo 10R | around ₹24,000 (8GB+128GB) | Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 | 6.78” 1.5K AMOLED, 144Hz | 6,400mAh / 80W | Raw performance |
| Realme P4 Pro | around ₹26,000–29,000 | Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 | 6.8” AMOLED, 144Hz | 7,000mAh / 80W | Smooth 144fps-style gaming |
| Motorola Edge 60 Pro | around ₹29,500 (8GB+256GB) | Dimensity 8350 Extreme | 6.7” 1.5K pOLED, 120Hz | 6,000mAh / 90W | Tough all-rounder |
| Realme Narzo Power 5G | around ₹29,999 (8GB+256GB) | Dimensity 7400 Ultra | 6.8” AMOLED, 144Hz | 10,001mAh / 80W | Battery life |
| Infinix GT 30 Pro | around ₹25,000–27,000 | Dimensity 8350 Ultimate | 6.78” AMOLED, 144Hz | 5,500mAh / 45W | Shoulder triggers |
Prices are the lowest listed on major Indian stores and price trackers in October 2026. Older models in particular go in and out of stock, and prices can swing by a few thousand rupees in a week, so check before you buy.
1. iQOO Neo 10R: the most power for the money
If frame rates are all you care about, start here. The Neo 10R uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a near-flagship chip that is a clear step above the mid-range chips in most phones at this price. iQOO pairs it with a large vapour chamber (about 6,000 sq mm) to keep heat in check during long sessions.
The 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen runs at up to 144Hz, the 6,400mAh battery is large, and 80W charging refills it quickly. It also has IP65 splash resistance.
The catch: the cameras are only average, and stock of some variants is patchy. The 8GB+128GB model sells for around ₹24,000, while the 12GB+256GB version is around ₹28,000. Buy the 256GB model if you install several big games, since titles like BGMI and Genshin Impact take a lot of space.
2. Realme P4 Pro: built for smooth, high-refresh gaming
The Realme P4 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, which is a step below the Neo 10R’s chip in raw power. What makes it interesting for gamers is Realme’s separate HyperVision AI chip, which the brand says can boost supported games to 144fps at 1.5K resolution. It also supports bypass charging, which powers the phone directly from the charger while you play, so the battery heats up less.
You get a 6.8-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen, a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging, and a vapour chamber cooling system. It launched at ₹24,999, but Realme raised prices in 2026, and it now sells for around ₹26,000 to ₹29,000 depending on the variant and store.
3. Motorola Edge 60 Pro: the tough all-rounder
Not everyone wants a phone that looks like a gaming phone. The Edge 60 Pro uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Extreme, which handles popular games well, inside a slim, curved design with a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED screen.
Its biggest strengths are outside gaming: IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, MIL-STD-810H durability testing, a 6,000mAh battery, 90W wired charging and even 15W wireless charging, which is rare at this price. The screen tops out at 120Hz rather than 144Hz, but most games don’t go beyond 120fps anyway. It’s around ₹29,500 for 8GB+256GB.
4. Realme Narzo Power 5G: two days of battery
The Narzo Power 5G (essentially the Realme P4 Power under a different name) has a massive 10,001mAh battery with 80W charging. For anyone who plays for hours away from a plug, nothing else here comes close.
The Dimensity 7400 Ultra chip is the least powerful on this list. It runs everyday games smoothly, but you’ll need to lower graphics settings in demanding titles. The 6.8-inch 144Hz AMOLED screen is bright and sharp. Note that the phone weighs around 219g and comes with 8GB of RAM at most. It’s around ₹29,999 for 8GB+256GB on Amazon and Realme’s online store.
5. Infinix GT 30 Pro: real shoulder triggers
The GT 30 Pro is the only phone here with built-in shoulder triggers, touch-sensitive buttons on the edge that you can map to actions like shooting or aiming. In shooters, that frees your thumbs for moving and looking around. It uses the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, the same chip family as the Motorola, plus a 144Hz AMOLED screen and bypass charging.
The battery is smaller at 5,500mAh, and 45W charging is slower than the rest of this list. Infinix sells a magnetic cooler separately as part of its GT Gaming Kit. Prices vary between stores, so only buy it if you find it for around ₹25,000 to ₹27,000.
Tip: Before you buy, check which frame rates your favourite game actually supports on that phone. Games like BGMI unlock high-fps modes only on specific chips, so the screen’s 144Hz figure doesn’t guarantee 144fps in every title. Bank offers during sales can also cut ₹2,000–3,000 off, which can push a ₹32,000 phone under your budget.
Which one should you buy?
- Want the highest frame rates and least lag? iQOO Neo 10R.
- Want smooth high-refresh gaming with a big battery? Realme P4 Pro.
- Want one phone that survives rain, drops and daily life? Motorola Edge 60 Pro.
- Play for hours without a charger? Realme Narzo Power 5G.
- Play a lot of shooters? Infinix GT 30 Pro, for its triggers.
If you can wait a few days, Infinix is launching the GT 50 Pro in India on October 27. Its price hasn’t been announced yet, and early estimates put it well above ₹30,000, so it may not fit this budget.

The bottom line
For pure gaming under ₹30,000, the iQOO Neo 10R is still the one to beat thanks to its Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, as long as you can find it in stock. The Realme P4 Pro and Motorola Edge 60 Pro are better all-rounders, the Narzo Power 5G wins on battery, and the Infinix GT 30 Pro is the pick for shooter fans who want triggers. Prices are moving a lot this year, so compare a couple of stores and look for bank offers before you buy.
