1. Realme Buds T200: best earbuds for music lovers

The Realme Buds T200 sells for around ₹1,780 (October 2026), down from its ₹1,999 launch price. That buys a lot: active noise cancellation (ANC) rated up to 32dB, 12.4mm drivers, and support for the LDAC codec, which can stream higher-quality audio from Android phones that support it. Realme claims up to 50 hours of playback with the case with ANC off, and a 10-minute charge is rated for about 5 hours of listening. The IP55 rating means sweat and rain aren’t a worry.

It’s an easy gift for anyone still using wired earphones or an old pair of basic buds. Just note that LDAC helps only on Android; iPhone users won’t get that benefit.

2. CMF Buds Neo: best for long battery life

Nothing’s sub-brand CMF launched the Buds Neo in India in August 2026 at an introductory ₹1,999, and listings now show it for around ₹1,800–2,000. It offers adaptive ANC up to 35dB, 12.4mm drivers, Bluetooth 6.0 and dual-device connection, so it can stay paired to a phone and a laptop at once. CMF claims 11 hours per charge from the buds and 52 hours with the case with ANC off (around 30 hours with ANC on). The buds are IP54-rated.

It’s sold mainly on Flipkart, plus Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales. Between this and the Realme, pick the CMF for battery life and multi-device use, and the Realme for LDAC.

3. Redmi Watch Move: best first smartwatch

At around ₹2,000 on Croma (about ₹2,200 on Amazon in October 2026), the Redmi Watch Move sits right at the top of this budget. It has a large 1.85-inch AMOLED screen that reaches 600 nits, an always-on display option, Bluetooth calling with a built-in mic and speaker, and IP68 water resistance. Xiaomi rates the battery at up to 14 days.

It doesn’t have built-in GPS, so runners who want accurate route maps should spend more. For notifications, step counts, sleep tracking and taking calls on the wrist, it’s a lot of watch for a gift. Our smartwatches under ₹5,000 guide covers the next step up.

4. Xiaomi Power Bank 4i 10000mAh: the gift nobody regrets

A power bank isn’t exciting, but it’s the gadget people thank you for later. Xiaomi’s Power Bank 4i 10000mAh costs around ₹1,250 (October 2026). It gives up to 22.5W from one port, has one USB-C and two USB-A outputs, and weighs about 280g, so it fits in a pocket or small bag. Expect roughly one full charge for a typical phone.

If you’re gifting to someone who travels a lot, the 20,000mAh version costs a little more and still stays under ₹2,000. Our power bank guide explains capacity and watts in detail.

5. boAt Stone 352 Pro: best Bluetooth speaker

boAt’s own store lists the Stone 352 Pro at around ₹1,500 (October 2026), though stock comes and goes during sales. It’s a 14W portable speaker with an IPX5 splash-resistance rating, Bluetooth 5.3, USB-C charging and up to 12 hours of claimed playtime. You can also pair two of them for stereo sound, which makes a fun gift for two siblings or roommates.

It’s a good fit for a hostel room, a terrace party or the kitchen, where splash resistance and long battery life matter more than audiophile sound.

6. Wipro 16A Wi-Fi Smart Plug: best smart home starter

For about ₹1,000 (October 2026), the Wipro 16A smart plug lets someone switch a plugged-in device on and off from their phone, or by voice with Alexa or Google Assistant. The 16A rating matters: it can handle heavy appliances like an AC or a geyser, unlike cheaper 6A or 10A plugs meant for lamps and chargers. It also tracks energy use and supports schedules, so the geyser can switch on before you wake up.

It works over Wi-Fi without a separate hub. It’s a thoughtful gift for parents who forget to turn off the geyser, and it leaves room in the budget for a second one.

Tip: Buy gadgets from the brand’s own store or the “sold by” seller with high ratings, and keep the invoice in the box. Many brands need the invoice for warranty claims, and the recipient will need it if anything fails. If you’re gifting earbuds or a watch, check that it works with the recipient’s phone. Most work with both Android and iPhone, but features like LDAC are Android-only.

How to choose the right gift

Think about what the person already uses every day. Someone who commutes by metro or bus will use ANC earbuds daily. A student or a frequent traveller will appreciate a power bank more than another accessory. Older parents often get the most out of a smart plug, which saves them a walk to the switchboard, while a smartwatch suits anyone who misses calls or wants to track steps and sleep.

Also consider the timing. Festive prices change daily, and the same product can be ₹200–300 cheaper on a different store. Check two or three sites before you buy.

The bottom line

For most people, ANC earbuds are the safest Diwali gift under ₹2,000: the Realme Buds T200 is the pick for sound and LDAC, and the CMF Buds Neo for battery life and dual-device pairing. The Redmi Watch Move is the best gift for a first smartwatch, and the Xiaomi Power Bank 4i is the practical choice almost anyone will use. For smaller budgets, the boAt Stone 352 Pro speaker and Wipro 16A smart plug are good value. Whatever you pick, compare prices across stores before you buy, because festive deals change every day.
